Mallorca is a stunning destination offering a wealth of activities. We recommend that you arrive several days before the wedding to adjust to Spanish life and enjoy what the island has to offer. The main airport is Palma (PMI) and there are many connections through Barcelona and Germany. June is the beginning of high season in Spain, with long days of sunlight and warmth. Be sure to book your flights and hotels well in advance. If you are departing on Sunday, you must arrive at the airport 2 hours prior to departure because it's a very busy airport. The boat activity on Sunday ends in the evening and earlier transportation from the boat is available. We recommend staying through Monday and arriving a couple of days earlier.
ARRIVING EARLY
Explore Mallorca or Barcelona if you're arriving earlier. Drive around the island, enjoy outdoor activities, local food, and fresh air.
(1) Pleta De Mar and sister hotel Can Simoneta. We previously stayed at Pleta De Mar. It’s a great base to explore the surrounding Canyamel area to the east and to just relax.
(1) Park Hyatt - Canyamel. Michelin star Alvaro Salazar runs the restaurant since Jan
(2) Castell Son Claret - Excellent hotel with great restaurant and spa in a scenic countryside location.
This Mediterranean town is about an hour away from Palma. Because of it's location on sea, sitting at the foothills of Traumuntana mountains, there are seemingly endless possibilities for activities. This area is a famous cycling destination where many of the professional teams train. There are two kite schools in the area and June is in season for kiting.
Cap Rocat - Unique and modern hotel built inside an old fortress, opt for a single night stay if going here. Close to Palma and 10 minutes from the airport.
